The hides average 50 square feet. Some are as small as 40 - 44 sq.
ft. and some as large as 58 - 60 sq. ft.
How
do I convert yardage into square footage?
Each 54 in. fabric yard is equal to 18 sq. ft. of leather. Each
50 sq. ft. hide is equivalent to 3 - 3.5 yards of fabric that is
54 in. wide.
Where
are the hides stocked?
All Asher Leather inventory is stocked in Dallas, Texas and shipped
F.O.B. out of Dallas.
How
may I pay for my order?
Asher accepts all major credit cards. For first time customers proforma
and C.O.D. options are also available. Net terms established upon
credit approval.
How
quickly will I receive my leather?
All in stock orders will be filled and shipped within 24 - 48 hours
of purchase.
Where
are Asher Leather hides tanned?
Asher Leather hides are imported directly from Argentina tanneries.
Argentina is the second largest cattle raising country, after the
United States. Our tanneries in Argentina specialize in producing
upholstery weight leather.
What
is your return policy?
We accept all uncut and unmarked hides within 30 days of purchase.

Do
you sell garment leather?
Asher specializes in upholstery leather. Our leathers average 2.5
ounces per square foot and 2.8 mm in thickness.
If
I don't see what I need in your sample case, can you match samples?
Just ask. We have access to well over 400 colors and types of leather
from our various tanneries. The leather can be available to ship
in a matter of days. Simply send us a sample of what you are looking
for, then we'll send you a cutting for approval.
